WARFIELD WITHIN aus Mönchengladbach wird im Dezember 2005 gegründet. Die Band setzt sich zusammen aus: Sebastian (vocals), Christian (guitars), Thomas (bass), Spas (guitars) und Simon (drums).

Im Februar 2007 wird Yonah Records auf das Demo „Worst Enemy“ aufmerksam und es kommt zur Zusammenarbeit. Im August 2007 verstärkt sich die Band mit dem ehemaligen Jack Slater Gitarristen Spas. Das Debutalbum „Inner Bomb Exploding“ erscheint am 26.03.2010.

Musikalisch definiert sich die Band durch eine Symbiose aus Death- und Thrashmetal. Charakteristisch für WARFIELD WITHIN sind ultraschnelle Blastbeatattacken, treibende Doublebassteppiche, technische, jedoch eingängige und brutale Gitarrenriffs und für den Extrembereich abwechslungsreiche Gesänge, die zwischen tiefen Growls und hysterischen Thrashshouts hin und her pendeln. Aus der Sicht der Fans wird die Gruppe als eine Mischung aus Krisiun, Behemoth, Defleshed, The Haunted, Hatesphere, bzw. Deathmetal der amerikanischen Schule beschrieben.

In knapp 100 Auftritten in Deutschland, den Niederlanden und Belgien hat sich die Band den Ruf einer exzellenten Liveband erspielt. Bislang konnten sie sich die Bühnen u.a. mit Bands wie Mayhem, Sinister, Equilibrium, End Of Green und Cataract teilen.

Im Gegensatz zu anderen Genrevertretern behandeln die Texte persönliche Geschichten und psychologische Themen wie psychische Erkrankungen, Pessimismus oder nihilistische Weltanschauungen. Der Bandname ist dabei wörtlich zu nehmen und beschreibt die Auseinandersetzung mit der eigenen Geisteswelt und ihren Konflikten.

WARFIELD WITHIN from Mönchengladbach, Germany was formed in December 2005. The band consists of Sebastian (vocals), Christian (guitars), Thomas (bass), Spas (guitars) and Simon (drums).

In February 2007 the Demo “Worst Enemy” finds its way to Yonah Records who decide to cooperate with the aspiring band. A couple of months later ex Jack Slater guitarist Spas joins the band. The first album will be released on the 26th of March in 2010.

On the musical level WARFIELD WITHIN form a symbiosis between Death- and Trash metal. Fast and aggressive drumming is combined with technical but catchy guitar riffs. The vocal spectrum ranges from deep growls to hysterical screams, thus enriching the musical variety. According to fans Warfield Within form a mixture between bands, such as Krisiun, Behemoth, Defleshed, The Haunted, Hatesphere etc, without losing their own sound.

At roughly 100 gigs in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium the band has given proof of their good reputation as an outstanding live-band. Until now they have supported bands, such as Mayhem, Sinister, Equilibrium, End of Green, Catarect, etc.

In contrast to other representatives of the genre, the lyrics have a very personal and reflective character, elaborating on themes of nihilism, pessimistic worldview and psychological illness. In this context the band’s name is to be seen literally, referring to the inner conflicts of human nature.
